Dave Acton, master of Starsplit Hall, conceals his true identity by working as a butcher. When a customer reveals she spotted his wife at the bus station with a wealthy suitor, Dave misinterpreves her warning and becomes enraged. He chases her away in a fit of anger, unaware that this altercation will soon be complicated by his father's impending arrival.
